why wood is so important in minecraft

There are Six different types of wood in minecraft, Oak, Birch, Spruce, Dark Oak, Acacia, and Jungle. Now in real life wood is very important to us because if there are no trees then no wood or oxygen for us to breath. In minecraft you can breath even if there are no trees, but with out any trees to give you wood you can't even play the game in survival because you need wood for all the crafting recipes. like making a pickaxe, sword, shovel, axe, and many more thing. Allso don't forget to replant the trees so you will never run out of wood and don't leave trees flouting, its not natural.
