A wooden Pickaxe is the weekes pick out of the game. Most of the time players will make one to get three cobblestone so they can make a stone pick, when they are first stating out in a new world. But when they craft the stone pick they get rid of the wooden because it is week, slow, and beaks very fast. although there are some players that like to use up the wooden one first so they don't wast resouses.
